December 1, 2023 – Donor Doubles #GivingTuesday Gifts
A St. Jude League donor recently approached us with an inspired offer – they wanted to assist our Season of Giving efforts with a Matching Gift Challenge on #GivingTuesday, donating a dollar for each new dollar received that day!
In the days ahead of this year’s online giving event on November 28th, we eagerly shared news of the Match Challenge on our social media channels. Then on #GivingTuesday, we sent direct messages to our supporters, inviting them to accept this unique opportunity to effortlessly DOUBLE their donation.
To say that we were overwhelmed by the show of support received on #GivingTuesday would be an understatement! To the many followers who seized upon this special opportunity to multiply their generosity to our ministries – THANK YOU!
#GivingTuesday contributions will flow through to the life-changing social justice Claretian missions in Education and Youth, Health and Wellness, Affordable Housing and Community Development, Humanitarian and Refugee Aid and Media which the St. Jude League supports.
We were elated to share the results of #GivingTuesday with the match donor but were entirely unprepared for their response. “I don’t think we’re done yet, let everyone know I’m extending the match!”
